The W.T. Clarke Middle School / High School was temporarily evacuated Friday after a bomb threat, police and school officials said.
“The building was searched and it was negative,” a Nassau County police spokeswoman said.
The students were bused to East Meadow High School after the threat was reported at 11:15 a.m. the officials said, and police gave the all-clear at 12:25 p.m. for students to return.
Officials said students were still in the process of returning at 1 p.m.
A police spokeswoman said the Bomb Squad and other emergency personnel had responded to the scene on Edgewood Drive in Salisbury.
