The City of Portage la Prairie is notifying the public that they will begin fogging for mosquitos this Sunday.

The city says they intend to conduct fogging with Delta Gard 20EW (active ingredient Deltamethrin), if the weather allows it.

On Sunday, June 19, all areas south of the railway tracks will be fogged, not including Koko Platz, Mellenville and Old Bridge Road.

Then on Monday, June 20, all areas north of the tracks will be completed, as well as Koko Platz, Mellenville and Old Bridge Road.

The city notes that fogging will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. to be completed before 6:00 a.m.

If the weather conditions are poor, the fogging will take place the following evening, pushing the schedule back one day.
